Return & Refund Policy

Sona’s Kitchen

At Sona’s Kitchen, we take pride in delivering restaurant-quality meals prepared and packed to the highest food safety standards. Due to the perishable nature of our products, our returns and refund policy is outlined below.


1. Change of Mind

As our meals are perishable chilled food products, we do not accept returns or provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

Please choose carefully before completing your order.


2. Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Products

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

To assist with investigation, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • A description of the issue

If the issue is verified, we may offer:

  • A replacement

  • Store credit

  • Or a refund (at our discretion)


3. Temperature & Storage

Our meals are delivered chilled in insulated packaging.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery, or

  • Providing safe drop access

Once delivered, meals should be transferred to the refrigerator as soon as possible.

Our chilled meals have a shelf life of up to 21 days when stored correctly (please always refer to the use-by date and storage instructions on the packaging).

We cannot be responsible for product quality issues resulting from:

  • Delayed collection

  • Improper storage (including not refrigerating promptly or storing outside recommended temperatures)

  • Incorrect reheating


4. Delivery Issues

If your order is delayed, missing, or delivered incorrectly, please notify us within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery date so we can investigate with our courier partner.


5. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product is unsafe, significantly different from description, or not of acceptable quality, you are entitled to a remedy in accordance with consumer law.
